This course presents an interpersonal problem solving process that systematically deals with people oriented problems, issues or concerns with emphasis on conflict situations that typically prove disruptive to work environments. Key Learning

Following an informal lecture detailing the basics and fundamentals of the POPS process, participants work in four-five person work teams to apply the process steps using video-based case studies. Formative and summative application exercises call upon participants to form collaborative work teams to satisfactorily resolve video-showcased scenarios (with facilitator support).

Format

This one-day course is presented in a combined informal lecture, guided discussion, interactive and collaborative setting complimented by a PowerPoint presentation and participant workbook. Participants are provided with all essential tools needed to put the process into effect upon course completion.
